Finding it hard to attend face to face classes but keen to expand your knowledge of MS Word for work?
This eight week course (approximately four hours per week) uses MS Word 365 to develop a sound working knowledge of word processing features and formatting used in the Australian workplace.
Students are provided with their own MS Office Account and complete course work independently on a weekly basis supported by a step by step training manual and four study support sessions using Zoom. These sessions offer an opportunity for students to meet online with their teacher to ask questions and receive guidance. This course forms part of a Business Admin skillset offered by Pines Learning.
You will:
- Review the MS Word Ribbon and basic editing such as Cut/Copy/Paste
- Manage fonts and formatting
- Use numbering and bullets appropriately
- Create and edit tables to workplace standard
- Manage pictures within text
- Use Mail Merge effectively
- Develop file management skills
- Gain an understanding of a wide range of other features required to word process text effectively
Next course commences 13 February 2024.
Study support sessions will be held on: Tuesday evenings 13 and 27 February, 12 March and 16 April, 7.00-9.30 pm.
