Designed for people returning to work after an extended break or considering a career change, this course provides a supportive environment to help you understand how to apply for jobs in today’s job market.

It’s suited to anyone who is unsure where to look for work, has been applying without success, or wants to build the confidence and skills needed to find a suitable role.

Over six weeks, you’ll learn in small, supportive classes guided by our experienced Careers Counsellor. You’ll gain practical skills and knowledge in:

• Understanding the key skills and qualities employers look for
• Recognising and applying your communication and interpersonal skills in real-world situations
• Learning how employers recruit and find candidates
• Identifying your transferable skills from work, study, and life experience
• Knowing where to find job opportunities
• Understanding how AI and online application processes work
• Writing an effective resume
• Building confidence for interviews and improving your
  presentation skills

By the end of the course, you will feel more prepared and ready to take the next step toward employment.

Pre-requisites: Basic computers skills and English for everyday life.
