Commercial Cleaning Essentials Trainer/Teacher 

An opportunity exists for an experienced pre-accredited trainer to join our progressive community, not for profit RTO. Pines Learning pre-accredited courses provide students with the opportunity to learn in a welcoming and supportive environment. These courses pathway to work or further study and follow a learner centred approach.

The role includes the development of teaching and learning resources, and the delivery of pre-accredited classes to a diverse range of learners online, and face to face. Applicants must hold a current National Police Check and current Employee Working with Children Check upon commencement.

The position is classified under the NHACE Collective Agreement 2016 as Casual Tutor Level 2, however, Pines Learning pays above the Agreement rate. This is a casual position is to deliver our Commercial Cleaning Essentials course with hours to be discussed upon application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-accredited study ensuring all skills and knowledge criteria are taught to meet the expected learner outcomes of the course.
  • Facilitate and manage a safe inclusive, learner focused classroom environment.
  • Assist Pines Learning with continuous improvement of course content.
  • Complete pre-accredited documentation and collect learner outcomes within required timeframes.
  • Attend Trainer meetings and moderation.
  • Participate in internal or external professional development opportunities to keep up to date with and apply new teaching and learning approaches.

Key Selection Criteria

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE4066) or equivalent
  • A Trade qualification in cleaning and/or extensive industry experience
  • Well- developed teaching skills with online and face to face delivery
